- 2 carrots (sliced)
- 2 cucumbers (sliced or whole if small)
- 1 head of cauliflower (broken into florets)
- 2 bell peppers (sliced)
- 4-5 garlic cloves (whole or sliced)
- 1-2 hot peppers (optional)
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cups white vinegar (5% acidity)
- 4 cups water
- 2-3 bay leaves
- Fresh dill (optional)
