Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce,

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Beef

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using). Stir to combine and set the beef mixture aside.

Step 2: Cook the Pasta

  1. While the beef is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the rotini pasta according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes for al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water for later.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  1. In the same skillet used for the beef, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes until it begins to thicken.
  4. Stir in the chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning (if using). Stir until the sauce is smooth and the cheese melts into the sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Step 4: Combine Everything

  1. Add the cooked rotini pasta to the skillet with the garlic parmesan sauce. Toss the pasta until it’s well coated with the creamy sauce.
  2. Add the cooked beef mixture to the skillet and stir everything together. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or basil for a touch of freshness and color.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy your rich and creamy Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce!
