Cheesy Beef and Potato Casserole


Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain excess fat.
  2. Prepare the Base
    • In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Layer the Casserole
    • Grease a large casserole dish.
    • Spread the diced potatoes evenly on the bottom.
    • Layer the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.
    • Pour the soup mixture evenly over the top.
  4. Add Cheese
    • Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the casserole.
  5. Bake
    • Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
    • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve
    • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or chives and serve warm.
