Garlic Flatbread Recipe

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Batter:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
    • Add the milk, yogurt, and egg (if using) and mix until you get a smooth, pourable batter.
  2. Heat the Pan:
    • Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Lightly grease it with olive oil or butter.
  3. Cook the Flatbread:
    • Pour a ladleful of the batter into the pan and spread it gently with the back of the ladle to form a round, even flatbread.
    • Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until bubbles form and the bottom turns golden brown. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
  4. Garlic Butter Finish (Optional):
    • While the flatbread is cooking, melt butter and mix it with freshly minced garlic and chopped parsley. Brush this garlic butter over the cooked flatbreads for extra flavor.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve warm as a snack, side dish, or with your favorite dips and sauces.

Tips:

  • Add shredded cheese or chili flakes to the batter for variations.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat on a pan for a crispy finish.

Enjoy these fluffy, flavorful flatbreads in no time! 🍞🧄
