Here’s a quick and delicious recipe for Beef Fried Rice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:
    • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add the beef, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Cook the Eggs:
    • In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble them until just set. Remove and set aside with the beef.
  3. Cook the Veggies:
    • Add the remaining oil to the skillet. Sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
    • Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until tender.
  4. Combine Ingredients:
    • Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add the rice and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, breaking up any clumps.
    • Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, mixing everything well.
  5. Add Beef and Eggs:
    • Return the cooked beef and scrambled eggs to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Sprinkle with green onions and serve hot.

Tips:

  • Rice matters: Use leftover, day-old rice for the best texture. Freshly cooked rice may be too moist and sticky.
  • Customize your protein: Swap beef for chicken, shrimp, tofu, or keep it vegetarian by skipping the protein altogether.
  • Extra kick: Add a splash of hot sauce or sprinkle chili flakes for some heat.
