📝 Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Add the egg and the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

2. Make the Walnut Filling

  1. Mix the ground walnuts and sugar in a bowl.

3. Assemble the Layers

  1. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
  2. Roll out the first portion and place it in a greased 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan.
  3. Spread half of the apricot jam and sprinkle half of the walnut-sugar mixture.
  4. Repeat with the second dough layer, spreading the remaining jam and walnut mixture.
  5. Cover with the third dough layer.
  6. Prick the top layer with a fork to prevent air bubbles. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

4. Bake

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.

5. Add the Chocolate Glaze

  1. Melt the chocolate, butter, and milk together. Stir until smooth.
  2. Pour over the cooled pastry and spread evenly.
