  • 2 ½ cups (600ml) milk
  • 1 cup (240ml) water
  • ¼ cup (50g) sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

For the Soufflé Mixture:

  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest (optional, for freshness)
