Meat with Bell Peppers

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Beef:

  1. Season the beef slices with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using).
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef slices and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook the Vegetables:

  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the bell peppers and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

3. Combine Everything:

  1. Return the beef to the skillet with the vegetables.
  2. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to coat everything evenly.
  3. Add the cornstarch slurry and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or more soy sauce if needed.

4. Serve:

  • Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Tips:

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sliced chili peppers.
  • You can substitute chicken, pork, or tofu for the beef for a variation.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini, mushrooms, or snap peas for extra crunch and flavor.

Enjoy this vibrant and hearty dish that’s sure to please everyone at the table! 🥘✨
