Potato & Chicken Meat Casserole 🥔🍗


Instructions

1. Prep the Ingredients:

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease a casserole dish with olive oil or butter.
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly using a knife or mandoline. Set aside.

2. Cook the Chicken Meat Mixture:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground chicken, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  3. Season with smoked paprika, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Stir in the chicken broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

3. Assemble the Casserole:

  1. In the greased casserole dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
  2. Spread the cooked chicken mixture evenly on top of the potato layer.
  3. Add half the shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken.
  4. Cover with the remaining potato slices.
  5. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the top layer of potatoes and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese.

4. Bake to Perfection:

  1. Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil, sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese, and bake uncovered for another 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly.

5. Serve & Enjoy:
