Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Melt the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave.
- Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar in a chilled bowl until stiff peaks form.
- Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly, then fold it into the whipped cream along with vanilla extract.
- Spoon the mousse into small serving dishes and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Garnish with shaved chocolate or whipped cream if desired.
