
Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the Beef
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and black pepper.
- Add sliced beef, toss to coat, and let sit for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, beef broth, and cornstarch.
- Set aside.
Step 3: Stir-Fry the Steak
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over high heat.
- Add beef in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until browned.
- Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 4: Stir-Fry the Veggies
- In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil.
- Stir-fry garlic, bell peppers, and onions for 2-3 minutes, until slightly tender but still crisp.
Step 5: Bring It Together
- Return the beef to the pan.
- Pour in the sauce, stirring well.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats everything beautifully.
