Southern Salmon Patties

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (for extra moisture)
  • 1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
