Ingredients for the Cake:

2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 cup (227g) unsalted butter, softene2 cups (400g) granulated sugar

4 large eggs, at room temperature

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

1 cup (240ml) buttermilk, at room temperature

Ingredients for the Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened

1 ½ cups (180g) powdered sugar

2–3 tbsp milk or heavy cream (adjust for consistency)

1 tsp vanilla extract
